When Do You Go To Church?
As we are a Church Of England School we are closely linked with the Church. We have a family
service on the first Sunday of every month. The family service usually has a theme and the
children often write their own poems, stories, prayers etc, to read out in church.
Here are some of the services we have every year:
During the services the children are encouraged to help with giving out the hymn books, putting up the hymn numbers and taking the collection. Our Rector, The Reverend Benson is keen to have the children helping with the services.

- Mothering Sunday
- Pet Service-where children can bring in a pet.
Anything from a mouse to a snake and even
a horse can come along! - Christingle
- Harvest Festival
The children also go to church during school time for different activities. Some children
have had the chance to go up the church tower, or to ring the church bells. We have had a
make believe christening where a doll was used as the baby and the children were the baby's
relatives. We also have the junior production of the Christmas play in church every year.
