What Else Can I Do At Partney School?

We have lots of clubs at school which run from 3.30pm to between 5.00 and 5.30pm most nights.

On a Monday we have ICT and a sports club which will cover different kinds of sports such as high 5, football, athletics, cricket, tennis, rounders, cross country etc.

On Tuesday we have homework club and I.C.T.

On Wednesday we are starting a craft club.  We run Film Club in certain terms of the year where children watch a different U or PG rated film each week.

On Thursday we have Choir with Mrs White, who also runs Partney Church Choir. We regularly join in Music Festivals with other schools in our area and sing in Church. We also sing for two local residential homes at Christmas. Choir is open to children in Years 2-6. Environmental club is also on Thursday evenings. They are busy growing vegtables to be used in the school lunches in their own polytunnel and raised beds.

On Friday we have Taekwondo which involves the movement of arms, legs, hands and feet. Students are put through taekwondo grades and once each grade has been completed, they will be presented with the appropriate coloured belt.

Mrs Shucksmith also runs a Homework Club during lunchtime on a Tuesday and Friday, as well as after school on a Tuesday.
